A new milkshake place is the talk of the town, but Tanner doesn’t really pay much attention until his staunchly anti-capitalist, “Eat the Rich!” emo roommate applies for a job at the place and practically disappears. Now, he has to know what all the fuss is about—and it’s not like the muscle-bound himbo servers in their tight tank-tops and short shorts are bad to look at.
Vayne’s got two more artifacts to test with Cathas’ help and it just so happens that one of them is better enjoyed in pairs. He gets to have some fun of his own while continuing to show Cathas just how good it can be to give in to the desires of his body.
The plan continues apace as the legislative assembly gears up to debate what is likely to be the most consequential piece of legislation in the Commonwealth in decades. Corey takes some time to hone his powers as Godspark, Castor and Pollux go on a date and have some risky fun, and a new threat rears its head.
Jackson meets with the settlement chief and is made an offer he can scarcely refuse. Though he knows it’s probably a bad idea and goes entirely against all regulations he’s obediently followed these past two years, he’s horny and pent-up enough that he can’t help but agree.
When Neil comes to, he’s in a bed that isn’t his own, and he’s resting his head on a very warm, very firm slab of muscle. The memories come rushing back while all the blood in his head goes rushing down and he finds himself at the mercy of the Patriarch again before long.
Vayne learns runelore and makes a number of surprising discoveries he immediately puts to good use in order to help Brother Cathas along the path of his corruption.
Marcus cements his control over Bernard before returning home to see how Corey and his new pet pup, Auggie, have been getting along in his absence.
A last-ditched attempt to wrest Clay from Briar’s control ends in disaster and instead of pulling Clay out of the muck, Tom ends up getting dragged down with him.
