Ever since he ascended to the throne of his beloved kingdom of Altyria as its youngest ruler in history, High King Augustus Rennet has led his people into a golden age of peace, abundance, and prosperity. Bad blood between the races and pacts sworn in an age more brutal than this one force him into a collision course with the high elves of the forest of Ymrion, but when he takes his armies to meet his enemies on the field of battle, what befalls him is not at all what he expects as the sun is blotted out by a hail of arrows fletched with pink feathers.

River’s grandmother always told him to keep away from witches and their kind, especially after his mother disappeared without a trace one day. He’s not convinced they’re all bad, and besides, his one and only friend in the world is a Warlock and he’s never had any bad experiences with Wyn. Little does he know that his life is about to change in a way that he never would have anticipated.

Jamie is 19 and fresh out of high school, taking a gap year before committing to four years of post-secondary education before entering the workforce. He’s always been fascinated by Japan and saves up enough money working during the summer to go on an overseas trip for the holidays. He makes his way from Kyushu in the south all the way to snowy Hokkaido in the north, where a strange encounter at an old onsen up in the mountains changes his life forever.

Jim’s birthday party gets a bit wilder than anyone expects.

Deep in the heart of what the locals call the Forest of Milk, a place none of them dare enter, Evander finds an entrance into a massive underground maze.
